The Pennsylvania Statewide Independent Living Council holds public meetings every three months. During the meetings several members of the Governor's Office, Department of Labor and Industry, Department of Public Welfare, Department of Transportation, other state agencies, or representatives from disability organizations often address the council to provide updates on disability-related policies. In addition, the council receives reports from PA SILC committees and staff, and makes internal decisions.
