Personal Assistant Services (PAS) / Attendant Care
Personal Assistant Services (PAS), also known as Attendant Care, is available on a pre-scheduled, limited basis during the conference. Arrangements must be made in advance. If possible please call your provider and arrange to have your own attendant available for the conference.
Interpreters
Upon request, interpreters will be provided during scheduled meetings and activities
at the conference. To ensure that an interpreter is at the workshop(s) you plan to attend, you must request interpreter services in advance. The interpreter will only be assigned or the workshop(s) that you register for on the registration form.
Adaptive Equipment
A specific quantity of Adaptive Equipment, such as TTY’s and shower chairs, are available through the Hilton. Make sure you include your request on the conference registration form. If you are able to provide your own equipment, please do so. A public TTY is also located in the hotel lobby.
Auxiliary Aids
Assistive Learning Devices, sign language interpreters, and CART will be provided on request for all scheduled conference activities. Please indicate your request on the registration form.
Environmental & Chemical Sensitivities
In support of our brothers and sisters with environmental and chemical disabilities please refrain from using any perfumed grooming products such as scented soaps, deodorants, perfumes, colognes and heavily scented fabric softeners. It is also essential that we maintain a smoke-free environment for the conference. In addition to the areas immediately surrounding the meeting rooms, we ask that you refrain from smoking in paths of travel and doorways. All support services MUST be requested in advance. Please include your request on the registration form in the section marked Accommodation Services.
